Disney’s Mulan Deleted Scene: Reflection
In my opinion, deleting this scene from “Reflection” was a terrible mistake. The song is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but this added part takes a somewhat disparing song and makes being different empowering and strong.
I love how she looks so free at 1:23, because that’s her element, she’s not trapped by all those constraints, and of what is expected - she takes off the sash and it’s just so beautiful.
